Contribute to the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from hardware concept and design through testing, validation and documentation.
-
Apply a strong understanding of basic circuit theory, including voltage, current, electronic circuits, and passive and active electronic components.
-
Perform hardware design and architecture activities in line with product requirements and engineering standards.
-
Develop, review and maintain hardware schematics using relevant schematic design tools.
-
Apply PCB layout guidelines and design practices to support reliable hardware implementation and manufacturability.
-
Work with high-speed ICs and support the design and validation of high-speed hardware interfaces.
-
Perform hands-on laboratory testing, hardware debugging, troubleshooting and validation.
-
Support FPGA- and microcontroller-based hardware design and integration activities.
-
Conduct power supply analysis and evaluate suitable power supply topologies for hardware applications.
-
Support video and memory interface design, integration and validation.
-
Prepare and maintain hardware design documentation, test reports and technical specifications.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design issues, manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of development milestones.
-
Take ownership of assigned engineering activities, identify technical challenges proactively and drive issues through to resolution.
-
Communicate technical findings, design decisions and project progress clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
-
7–12 years of relevant experience in hardware design, electronic product development or a related engineering discipline.
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
-
Hands-on experience with the product development lifecycle.
-
Strong understanding of basic circuit theory, including voltage, current, electronic circuits, and passive and active components.
-
Practical experience working with high-speed ICs.
-
Hands-on experience with schematic design tools and an understanding of PCB layout guidelines.
