Role Overview
We are looking for Low-Level Development (LDD) Engineers with strong C/C++ programming skills and experience in embedded software development. Candidates may have expertise in Linux kernel and device drivers, embedded Linux or Zephyr/Ethernet development, or C++-based embedded systems and SoC-level software.
The role involves developing and debugging low-level software, troubleshooting system-level issues, and delivering reliable, production-quality code. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and be comfortable working with embedded platforms and hardware-software interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop, debug, and maintain low-level software using C and C++.
-
Work on embedded software, Linux-based development, kernel components, device drivers, or equivalent low-level systems.
-
Troubleshoot software issues across operating system, embedded platform, and hardware-software interfaces.
-
Support system-level debugging, Linux builds, and embedded platform development.
-
Collaborate with hardware, platform, and software engineering teams.
-
Write maintainable, reliable, production-quality code.
-
Use scripting and automation tools where required.
-
Take ownership of assigned development tasks and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Strong C/C++ programming fundamentals.
-
Experience in embedded systems or low-level software development.
-
Knowledge of Linux-based development or operating system fundamentals.
-
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-
Good communication and task-management skills.
Three Skill Profiles:
Skill 1: LDD / Zephyr (Ethernet) – E1
Experience: 2+ years
Required / Relevant Skills
-
C and C++ programming.
-
Embedded systems and low-level software development.
-
Device drivers or equivalent embedded software.
-
Exposure to embedded Linux, Zephyr RTOS, or wired Ethernet applications and drivers.
-
Python scripting.
-
Embedded software fundamentals and debugging.
Preferred Skills
-
Low-level boot processes.
-
Serial communication and peripheral development.
-
Hardware-level debugging and troubleshooting.
Role Focus: Embedded software development, Ethernet, Zephyr, device drivers, and low-level system components.
Skill 2: LDD Developer – C++ Embedded (E3)
Experience: 5+ years
Required / Relevant Skills
-
Strong C and modern C++ programming.
-
Linux-based development and embedded systems exposure.
-
Algorithms and data structures.
-
Rule engines, constraint systems, or complex state-driven software.
-
Computer architecture and system-level concepts.
-
Ability to independently own features and debug complex systems.
Preferred Skills
-
SoC fundamentals, including boot flow, pin multiplexing, GPIO, and clock trees.
-
Hardware bring-up and debugging.
-
IP-XACT, register maps, or hardware-adjacent tooling/EDA.
-
Python/Tcl scripting and code generation.
-
Power-management concepts.
Role Focus: C++ embedded development, rule-driven systems, system-level software, and hardware-adjacent development.
Skill 3: LDD Developer – Linux Kernel / Device Drivers (E2)
Experience: 2–3 years
Required / Relevant Skills
-
